The Great Dunkin’ Donuts Boob Scandal

Wednesday, November 17th, 2010

Dunkin Donuts is backtracking, denying, and otherwise obfuscating about a breast feeding incident at one of their New Jersey stores where the police were called in to quell the disturbance and restore order, morality, and modesty before the entire neighborhood descended into a quagmire of crime, corruption, and vice.

From a post at CafeMom.com:

“It finally happened. A friend and I were just told not to breastfeed in Dunkin Donuts because there are “other people there”. I was going to leave and just write a letter to Dunkin Donuts headquarters suggesting that they educate their employees better. The police were called, though.”

In a candid outburst, a spokesman for Dunkin’ Donuts declared:

“That’s a fucking crock of shit.  Those bitches are lying.  Employees called the cops because the mother changed the baby’s diaper in the store and we were terrified of being fingered by Amber Lyon of CNN for trafficking naked babies.”

In a brief written statement, Dunkin’ Donuts clarified things:

“We have no stores in New Jersey and wouldn’t put any there if it were the last place on earth.  It must have happened at a Krispy Kreme.”

Calls to the local police department failed to shed any light on the events, being instead connected to a standardized recording which dened any responsibility and claimed that all injuries, deaths, and property damage was caused by criminals who will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

The Crime of Loitering in New Jersey

Monday, October 11th, 2010

Libertarian Julian Heicklen is apparently targeting the recent trend for cities to outlaw loitering in areas where drug or prostitution activity is known to happen.

From Examiner.com:

Heicklen has zeroed in on the Camden police force’s overzealous enforcement of a “disorderly persons” offense under two state laws that effectively prohibit “loitering” in drug and prostitution zones.

Heicklen intends to land out copies of the Constitution and Bill of Rights to see if he gets arrested.

If anyone can get arrested for pursing peaceful outreach it’s Julian Heicklen. As regular readers of the Libertarian News Examiner can attest, Heicklen has a special knack for it.

The anti-loitering law carries a fine of up to $1000 and up to 6 months in jail.  If arrested, Heicklen apparently intends to challenge the Constitutionality of the law.

Poll: Should prostitution be legalized??

Tuesday, April 6th, 2010

NJ.com has a poll up about whether prostitution should be legalized:

There have been 30 prostitution arrests in West New York so far this year.   Last week Union City cops charged 16 with similar offenses.

There’s one camp that says prostitution leads to an array of other crimes and these arrests are great for improving quality of life for residents.

There are others who say that it’s a victim-less crime and should be legalized. Others say there are more serious crimes on which police should focus.

15 y/o New Jersey girl charged with ‘sexual assault, promoting prostitution and other crimes’

Friday, April 2nd, 2010

According to UPI.com:

Police in New Jersey said they arrested a suspect Thursday in the gang rape of a 15-year-old girl who then offered up her 7-year-old sister to be gang raped.

Wait a sec.  If, as the law holds, she’s too young to have any responsibility for her own complicity in having sex with someone older, how can she possibly be held responsible for selling her sister to be gang raped?

Yes, I’m being sarcastic, but when someone more than a couple years older has sex with a minor, the act is commonly referred to as statutory rape, implying that the victim was unable to voluntarily participate.   And yet, if that same victim shoots a few of her classmates, the public and prosecutors would immediately move to try the teen as an adult implying she was completely in control.  In this case, the 15 year old girl, being the older party, is unquestioningly assumed to be responsible for the crime and was charged accordingly.

Whether a teen is considered responsible for their own actions is totally a matter of whether or not the waiting lynch mob has someone else to hang and rest assured, the blood lust of the mob will be satisfied by whatever means necessary.

There is obviously more to this story than what has been put forth in this short report because it would seem unlikely that a 15-year-old that had just been gang raped is not likely to be making clear headed decisions in any case.

Nude snowwoman must don clothes

New Jersey cops tell family to cover up a sculpture of the Venus de Milo that they modeled from snow during last weeks blizzard.

Nice work, New Jersey.  The world is a safer place for your efforts.

Mentally ill sex offender threated with electricution as part of interrogation.

Sunday, January 24th, 2010

At least that’s what a second prisoner told investigators when questioned about the incident, detailing how he was told to fake electrocution to scare the mentally ill prisoner, at Adult Diagnostic and Treatment Center in Avenel, NJ, a specialized prison for sex offenders

There is, of course, no way we will ever know what happened.  From the article: Without a video camera in the examination room, the case boiled down to the officers’ word against the inmates’.  Law enforcement is notorious for not snitching on fellow officers and from what I read, “internal” investigations have an interesting way of finding no wrongdoing.
